Reduction of carbon footprint
- When using a bulk tank there are many factors involved that increase your carbon footprint. For example, the Air Separation Plants use approximately 549kW to product 1 ton of nitrogen – this is equivalent to 0.687kW/m3 of nitrogen gas, whereas the energy required to generate your own nitrogen on-site is approximately 0.36kW/m3. This is almost 50% less energy and carbon emissions produced when generating your own nitrogen on-site.
- There would also be a reduction in carbon emissions by eliminating the need for delivery trucks
